Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!

After we got all checked in and ate dinner, we headed to Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. They have this one select nights in the month of December from 7pm-midnight. It is a special ticket and they only sell 1/3 of the tickets that they sell during the day so the lines are very short and it wasn't crowded at all. After 7, the regular day people have to leave and you have to have a wrist band to ride any rides. They also served hot chocolate and cookies throughout the park to everyone all night!
We weren't sure how long Ana Maria was going to last but she stayed awake until 11:30!! There was just so much for her to do and look at that I think she forgot about sleeping. She never hardly rode in the stroller either because she wanted to walk and see everything. Poor girl was exhausted but had so much fun!!
We rode mostly all of the kiddie rides with her and would find other things for her to do while the older "kids" rode the roller coasters. It was such a fun time! We never waited more than 10 minutes for anything and rode mostly everything, plus saw all the shows and characters. The park closed at midnight so by the time we walked out of the park, it was 12:30. Then we rode the bus back to Animal Kingdom. Once she fell alseep at 11:30, she never woke up until 7:30am!!
We didn't have to wait long to get on the Magic Kingdom bus and we were so excited!
Mom, Shelby and Ana Maria on the bus
It was exciting!!

Look at her and everyone's face as we were getting off of the bus...we couldn't wait!

Getting ready to go inside. We got Lee a wheelchair since it involved tons of walking. It helped us a little to get to the front of the lines too :)

I love this picture of Sarah and Ana Maria. You could tell how excited she was!
The view of Main Street as we were walking in....our next view was the castle
Singers we saw on our way.
The castle changed colors every so often also. One time you'd look and see purple, red, blue. It was amazing!

The lights on the castle were spectacular!

Standing in line to get on the Buzz Lightyear ride. The first ride she rode :)

She loved it!!

And even concentrated on moving the spinner and blasting the aliens!

They are so cute together~look at their faces!

I forget the name of this ride but it takes you all around the park, similar to the monorail.

Shelby and I sat together on this ride :)

This is the section where Mickey and Minnie's houses are. While the big kids rode a roller coaster in here, we shopped in the Disney store.

Standing in line to see Minnie outside of her house

She loved Minnie as soon as she got her turn in line. I was so proud of her!

Minnie was dancing and Ana Maria started to dance with her too. The whole line started laughing!

Shelby and Ana Maria together with Minnie

The only family picture I could get because it was so fast and fun!

We wanted to see Mickey also but the line to see him was over 30 minutes long. His mailbox was enough excitment for her!

Eduardo and I waiting to see the fireworks

The firework show was incredible and even had a smiley face in it! I had never seen this before!

There were so many fireworks all around the sky. Sometimes you didn't know where to look!

Afterwards we went straight to the Winnie the Pooh ride

Her face looks like she is scared but she really liked it!

Tigger popping up everywhere!

Our next stop was It's A Small World...we knew she would love this one!

Look at her pointing at everything!!

She loved it!! All the singing and dancing was so exciting for her!

Sitting down waiting for the parade to start...you can tell she was about done

This picture shows it even more. I think the parade ended around 11:30 and she crashed right after that and never woke up again.
Lee, Eduardo and Shelby didn't mind getting wet so they went on Splash Mountain while we waited for them. We had 15 minutes until the park closed so we ran to Space Mountain. Everyone rode it except for Eduardo and I because Ana Maria was sleeping.

While they were riding Space Mountain, we got to see the end of this really cute show from Monters Inc.
This was Main Street as we were leaving, it was even snowing!

The Christmas trees everywhere were gorgeous!
Our last view of the castle...
Thank you mom and dad for a magical time...I can't wait to go back again!!
