A neat experince!

Uncle John and Former President Jimmy Carter

My uncle John who lives in South Florida had such a neat experience last weekend that I wanted to share it with you. He is a fishing captain, meaning he uses his boat for charters and chargers people money to take them out fishing. If you were visiting South Florida on vacation and had no access to a boat, this is what you would want to do to be able to catch lots of fish, big fish, and have a great day on a beautiful boat enjoying the sun!
Fortunatly for us, my parents now have a new boat, but before that Uncle John was always the one that took us out on his boat for fishing and/or a ride!
Anyways....the neat experience is that he got a phone call to do a charter but wasn't told who it was going to be. He showed up that morning and found lots of secret service standing around and found out that he was taking former President Jimmy Carter's son and his wife out on the boat. Jimmy Carter did not go but the next day, Uncle John had another charter and just ended up seeing the Carters in the same location, and his son called him over to take a picture with his dad. Uncle John said they were the nicest people and it was truly an experience to shake hands with the former President.
You can find the whole article that was in the newspaper at http://www.tcpalm.com/news/2010/mar/02/captain-nets-chance-to-meet-the-carters/ if you want to read more about it.
So next time you are in South Florida, give Uncle John a call!!
