Gingerbread cake...mmmm!

Yesterday when the girls got home from school we were trying to figure out what to do that was fun. They love to bake and cook so Laura Sofia and Daniela asked to make a gingerbread cake. Their mom does not like to bake so she had almost nothing in the house to use, even flour and sugar! For a woman that loves to bake, this was unheard of to me!! So we headed to my favorite grocery store (also the place I met Eduardo while I was working there), Publix. It is such an awesome grocery store and you know what I mean if you have ever been to one before. We stocked up on everything we needed and headed home to cook. The girls and I had so much fun together and the cake turned out perfect! If you need a good recipe for Chrsitmas, use this one!

Last night after all this and dinner...Mario, Laura, Eduardo and I got a babysitter and went out in Miami. It was all night, till 4:00am! I cannot even remember the last time we did this, probably college. We danced at a really fun latin place all night and enjoyed each others company without kids.

To top it off, Ana Maria woke up at 6:30am so today has been a tiring day! We all plan to be in bed soon :) Goodnight!
