The week of Christmas my family wanted to do something to give back to the children's hospital that Lee spent 8 months of his life at last year. Lee unfortunatly had to work, but my mom, sister and I went to do arts and crafts with the kids. We had made many ahead of time to give to the children that couldn't go out of their room, and then allowed others to come to the craft room to make them with us. They enjoyed it so much and we enjoyed helping and watching even more! When they finished we gave them a candy cane to put inside and a coloring book with a Christmas card from my family in it. Everyone was so appreciative and loved us being there. Definitly next time I am here, I want to volunteer there and my family hopes to go back again soon.
Setting up before everyone came...we weren't allowed to take pictures while the kids were in the room :( They were precious though!

Getting ready :)
We all wore our "Live Strong" shirts, hoping to be an inspiration to the families in the hospital fighting cancer just like our brother...
