Fireworks & Friends

*This is them last year!*

Saturday night we were invited to her friends Mary and Michaels house for their neighborhood block party. We went last year also so we knew how much fun it was! Ana Maria and their son Theo, love to play with eachother. We ate, the kids played in the street and then we watched a huge firework display. We went back to their house afterwards and didn't get home until almost 11:00pm! It was worth staying up for!!

Ana Maria and their other son, Riley who was born in February.

Ana Maria fixed their chairs like this to watch the fireworks :)

4th of July!

On 4th of July, we really didn't do much. We stayed home all morning and cleaned house and then made a trip to Sams. We told Ana Maria after dinner we would buy fireworks so we drove to the closest firework stand and bought sparklers, pop rocks and these new ball things that were 10 for $1.00. They ended up being the best! Next year we know :)
We invited Norah and Tara to come over and do sparklers with us. Ana Maria loves Norah! It was another late night because we had the perfect view from our driveway to watch everyone elses. It was a beautiful night!

Ana Maria was not afraid at all. She wanted to do everything by herself and she did a good job doing it! She would light her own sparkler and even held her own roman candle firework after Eduardo lit it for her :) My big girl!

Cheers

Ana Maria is usually a mess at a resturant these days! We have learned to ask for her food first so she can start eating and less playing will happen. The crayons usually entertain for a little bit and then she starts wanting sugar packets and salt shakers that make a mess everywhere! If I remember I try to bring books in from the car or a card game. We usually leave saying we are not going back for a long time and then go again the next day! :)

Papa playing tennis

We love to watch Eduardo play tennis! Eduardo recently played a tournment at the Walmart Sports Complex in Bentonville and won the whole tournament!! We are so proud of him!!

We brought lots of activities to keep us entertained while we watched :)

She passed out one afternoon because he played two matches in a row the last day.

My sweetheart!!

Rock Climbing Party

Our good friend in the MOMS Club, Catherine, hosted a rock climbing party for an end of the school year bash. I knew Ana Maria would like it even though she might have been too young. She was willing to put all the equipment on with no hesitation and even tried to climb herself. I needed to step in and help her though and when she got too high, she wanted down. I was so proud of her for trying! She is so brave and doesn't mind trying new things. That's my girl!

Edamame

We have found her a new favorite food...edamame! She loves to open it all by herself and pop them into her mouth. We have it about every other night because it is so healthy and she loves it plus she really doesn't like any other vegetables!

ColdStone Tour

I arranged for the MOMS Club to go to ColdStone for ice cream and a tour last week and you can tell how popular it was with all the moms, there was so many of us there! The manager and his staff did such a good job talking to the kids about hand washing, showing them the store and then letting them make their own ice cream with toppings. Ana Maria loved it with all of her friends and of course I always enjoy being with my friends too eating ice cream at 10:00am!
