This beach is one of the most famous beaches in Colombia and across South America. It was fun and busy! I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that as we sat on the beach, someone would come try and sell you something every minute. Sometimes even 3 people came at a time. They don't care if someone else is already trying to bother you! It was very annoying to us and because of this, we didn't enjoy it like the other beaches. It is just so commercialized with resorts, amusement attractions, and so many things that bring so many people there each year. We found the perfect palm tree to stay under in the shade and enjoyed a great morning there!
Ana Maria and Eduardo waiting to get into the taxi :)
This was early in the morning before everyone got there...we always loved going early before everyone else!
The palm trees were just beautiful as they lined the oceans edge.
People were selling everything...I mean anything you could think of! I couldn't belive it when I saw them even selling fresh fish on the pole :)
Eduardo and Juan Manuel together!
The sand was so beatiful, more than any other beach but just so many people by the time we left before lunch.
This picture was actually back at the Santa Marta beach. We went there in the afternoon after naps :)
Tia, Juan Manuel and Ana Maria digging a sand castle.
The Santa Marta beach was wild this afternoon because of concerts and parades that they city was having.
It was fun to get our picture taken with the Colombian Coast Guard patrolling the beach.
We stayed long enough so we could see the sunset.
Another night at home realaxing with eachother!
VIDEO: She LOVED the ocean!!
