I ran the Hogeye Half Marathon in May. I was very excited because I have always wanted to run it but also very nervous because of the difficulty the race is known to be. My only other half marathon I have ever ran, I ran in Dallas in December. I ran 2 hours exact then and wanted to beat my time. I wore a watch this time that helped me pace what I wanted to finish in. I finished the Hogeye in 1:55!! WOO-HOO! I was so proud and happy to beat my time!
My good friend Angela ran the Hogeye also and did awesome!! We both took an ice bath afterwards and posed proudly with our medals, it was tough!!
