Eduardo's dad was excited to take us to to a special attraction in Duitama, a hot spring. Good thing he had our bathing suits from being in Florida first or we would have gone in our clothes, it was worth it! The air temp is so cold that you want the pool to be hot so you don't freeze. The first two pools we went into were a little hot but we needed hotter. We finally found the last pool we went into to be perfect.
The pools are filled with natural hot water from the hot spring. When we got out we were covered in salt but Eduardo's dad said don't wash it off because it is so healthy for your skin. The next morning when we woke up, there was a ton of salt in our bed!
It was a memorable experience that I'd like to go back to when we are in Duitama again!
