Ana Maria started her 1st day of school last Wednesday! We are both at the Sonshine School at Mt. Comfort Church of Christ in Fayetteville on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9-1. She is in the 18-24 month old class and I am teaching the middle two year old class.
She screamed the whole way through open house the night before so we weren't sure how she would handle the first day. Of course, the initial drop off was rough because they were all crying with only two teachers. As she saw me during the day she would cry everytime, but was fine once she was in the class playing.
Today we were in school for our second day and she did much better. She wanted to sit with me in chapel, which is fine, and then didn't want to say goodbye. Everytime I peeked on her in the classroom though she was having fun.
If you ask her what her teachers name is she says "Tasha". It is so cute! We are working on her other teachers name "Sedata". She is coming home with the cutest little pieces of artwork and of course we are so proud and make the biggest deal of it. Our kitchen is soon going to be covered in everything. We love it though and she comments on them as she is sitting in her chair eating.
I can't wait to keep telling you more!
It was raining so we had the take the picture in the garage...she is pointing to the rain!
Getting ready to walk into her classroom :)

Oh, how cute! That's awesome that you'll be in the same building with her. I know she'll love it.
Ana Maria at school. I can't wait to visit her there.
