Here are the cousins we met at the mall for the day-Laura Sofia, Daniela and Gabriela with Ana Maria. They live in Miami so it wasn't far at all. We'll see them again next weekend for a couple of days. Can't wait!

Wednesday, July 8th-
This morning we woke up and couldn't wait to see Lee. We only got to see him for 5 minutes yesterday because of his medicine. It was a fun day and Lee was doing great. This weeks chemo is a lot and he has it the full 3 days he is here. He was walking a lot with us and really enjoyed Ana Maria being there...you could tell by the smile on his face and his interactions with her. As we were eating breakfast in the family center, he came looking for us and immediantly found a wagon to push Ana Maria around the hospial in. She loved it and he was proud to show her off to all his nurses that have heard so much about her.
We made plans to meet Ana Maria's cousins (Laura Sofia, Daniela and Gabriela) and my sister in law (Laura) at the Sawgrass Mills Mall in Ft. Lauderdale. It would have been too much for Lee to have us with him all day because he gets tired so quickly and Ana Maria is a handful in the room. We left around lunchtime and didn't get back until dinner time. It was a long day but fun being with everyone. The kids were good walking around and luckily we found a playground for them to play on while we drank coffee! I miss Ana Maria not living close to her cousins so it was nice they could spend the day together there.
We surprised Lee with Chick-fil-a, his favorite and he ate it all!! He was so happy we brought it back for him :) We spent a lot of time with Lee last night in his room with Ana Maria cuddling up with Lee in his bed. As long as she has the computer or cell phone, she is highly entertained and will stay in one spot. Lee likes her listening to his rap music anyways so it works both ways!
