Fun with grandmom

On Saturday we were so excited we could take my mom to the Farmers Market. She loves it and so do we! Eduardo had team practice that morning so mom and I took the girls. Afterwards we ran lots of errands...I ran into the stores with Ana Maria and mom and Kathryn stayed in the car. We are still being very particular about the public places we bring Kathryn until she gets her 2 month shots. We want her to stay so healthy during all these weather changes!

Mom bought these neat apple bakers and Ana Maria was in love with the lady's booth. Mom always likes to by a local item while she is here :)

Of course we always have to buy a fresh squeezed lemonade also! :)

Two week checkup

Mom was able to go with me to Kathryn's two week checkup while she was here. Kathryn weighed 9 lbs. .5oz. She was in the 75% percentile for everything, weight, height and head. I'm so proud of my happy and healthy baby girl!

Night-Night

While mom was here she helped us in every way! One way was during bedtime, trying to coordinate two going to bed was much different than one. We have always had a bedtime routine with Ana Maria so I think it made things easier with the transition to two. We always do a bath (or shower with one of us), two books, a prayer and then I tell her a story before we leave the room and turn the light off. She has a night light that she turns on and we leave the door open. Once she is asleep we close the door and turn the night light off. Hopefully she'll then sleep through the night!

RazorFest

The Saturday before I had Kathryn, we had a fun day enjoying the weather and outdoors as a family of 3. We started early at the Farmers Market and then concluded the day at the RazorFest. It was hot and my due date but I was just so excited to be with Ana Maria and Eduardo. I just love them so much!!

The cheerleaders all gathered around for Ana Maria to take a picture with them but she started being shy...(a perk to Eduardo being a coach at the university, we personally know the cheerleading coach)

Eduardo had to jump in the picture with her. She just stared at everyone! I think it was a bit overwhelming!

Cheer

Ana Maria loves to cheer, espeically when she knows we are video taping her! Here is a cute video of her singing the Arkansas Fight Song. Arkansas fans will love this!! Eduardo has done a good job teaching it to her :)

Bird houses

Mom brought Ana Maria an art project to do everyday while she was here last week. She brought so many we didn't even get to do two of them :)
I have said it so many times, but Ana Maria loves to do art. She enjoys painting, coloring, and glueing. The only thing she hasn't done yet is cut! Mom helped her one afternoon make these bird houses while Kathryn slept in her arms. Mom has so much patience and was so helpful!! One afternoon Ana Maria painted them and the next day glued cheerios on the outside of the house. They were so cute finished!

Ana Maria always asks to hold her little sister...she actually calls her the "new baby!" Not knowing whether it was a boy or girl the whole pregnancy we always said "new baby" and now that's what Ana Maria says, haha!
