Easter Eggs

Ana Maria loved to dye Easter eggs this year! Mom really hyped it up by buying her the Dora egg kit and these q-tips that also were paint sticks for the eggs. It was adorable and she loved every minute of it! She even ate one almost each day, Mom and I used the rest for egg salad...mmm! :)

Personal Ponies

Last Friday, Tara and I took the kids to see the ponies (my mom and brother was here also). They have an "open play" time every Friday morning and we finally went. It was well worth it and we can't wait to go back again! They raise ponies and then assign them to families that have special needs children. While the kids visited the farm they were able to pet the ponies, ride them, and see lots of other farm animals also.

The big day!!

The big day is that my mom and brother have arrived!! They got here Thursday night and we were so excited to go get them from the airport! Ana Maria and I made signs for them before we left, we always have to have the sign! Ana Maria held the signs so proud and as soon as she saw my mom and Lee, she started running through the security area. I had to stop her!! She went straight to them without any hesistation. I was so happy she remembered them, although she does talk to them everyday on the phone and we talk about them all the time!! They are here for 10 days and we have a lot planned :)

Easter Package

A couple days before mom and Lee came, a package arrived in the mail with Ana Maria's name on it. She is a lucky girl! The package was from my mom and dad :) It had three Spring magnets she could make and two Easter door hangers she could decorate. They turned out adorable and she had such a fun time doing them. I was going to wait and only do one of the crafts but we had to do both, back to back! She is our crafty girl!!

Art Day at The Jones Center

Last week during Spring Break the Jones Center did a theme activity each day for the kids. We went on Art Day and had a great time. Our friends Bonnie, Caroline, and baby Thomas met us there which made it even more fun! Here are pictures of what we did and Ana Maria working hard!

She got a pot which she put soil and seeds in by herself...it is actually growing in the kitchen!

Crayola was one of the sponsors so of course she colored :)

Playdoh was another sponsor and they had tons of playdoh set up for the kids to play with. They even let them bring some home!

Next, we found the egg carton caterpillars to make :)

And then puppets...

I am always so proud of our sweet girl. She loves everything we do and gets so excited about it, kinda like her momma! :) She enjoyed every minute of us being there. Never minded that she had to wait her turn, or that glue was stuck on her hand, she is just tough!
